Edgetech, a Quanex company, has recently completed the first stage in a new customer satisfaction survey it has established and is pleased to report excellent results. “Just weeks after the BFRC released its conductivity figures which showed Edgetech’s Super Spacer as the top performing spacer product, we are pleased to see that we are still getting things right for our customers in other areas of the business too,” says Alan Fielder, Director of Sales and Marketing at Edgetech. “We all think we know what customers like and what they don’t like about us but the truth is we don’t know until we ask. In this particular survey we asked customers what they thought about Edgetech’s sales representatives, service, products and marketing support among other things and were thrilled to see we were getting it right for customers across the board.
“Customers rated us particularly well for overall service and the technical knowledge of our engineers and sales representatives. Everyone interviewed agreed their orders arrived on time and in full. We won’t be resting on our laurels though - we will be using the results of these regular surveys to drive improvements throughout the organisation. While many companies carry out customer satisfaction surveys, it is probably only the few that really use the results as the valuable tool they are. We truly value our customers’ input in helping us achieve our goal of world class customer service and we’ll be using our regular survey to make sure the improvements we make to the business and to our products are the improvements our customers want and need, not just what we think they want and need.”
