Edgetech had high expectations for its stand at Glassex and wasn't disappointed with plenty of new leads and new business confirmations throughout the show. Andy Ball, Marketing and Business Development Manager of Edgetech explains why: "We had lots of exciting new products and initiatives to launch, including our consumer DVD, SDL, and WER:DIY our new program designed to make window energy ratings easy. All of this plus the fact we were in the energy efficiency zone sponsored by Edgetech, meant our stand in particular was buzzing from Sunday morning when the doors opened to close of play on Wednesday. Window energy ratings and Super Spacer featured heavily across the entire exhibition - in fact, visitors could see Super Spacer on 13 stands in total."
"Prospects wanted to find out more about the WER:DIY - the most comprehensive, independent study into UK Window Energy Ratings (WER) to date, sponsored by Edgetech and Pilkington. Many of them enjoyed a massage while they waited, all part of the 'Taking the stress out of energy ratings' theme of the stand. New and existing customers were particularly keen to see the launch of the new Simulated Divided Light (SDL) product, the structural foam system designed to give the appearance of individual panes of glass within a sealed unit and provide a warm edge solution as a replacement for standard metal duplex or integral bars."
The 'Windows that won't cost the Earth' DVD to help installers inform homeowners about the benefits of installing Energy Saving Recommended (ESR) windows using Super Spacer® was a big hit too. If you want to take advantage of this powerful marketing support contact Edgetech on 02476 705570.
“A comment from one fabricator visitor that window energy ratings are talked about all over Glassex but on the Edgetech stand you explain exactly what we need to do sums up why it has been such a resounding success for us," concludes Andy Ball. "We've got a busy year ahead and Glassex was a great way to kick it off."
