Lichfield-based PVC-u window and door profile company, Kömmerling, is experiencing a surge of new business due to its new team of Sales Managers. The market leader in environmentally conscious lead-free product is facing the future with an entirely new customer-facing team.
Firstly, John England was appointed in October last year as the new Sales Manager for the Midlands region, followed swiftly by the appointment of a new Sales Director, Kevin Warner, in the New Year. Now, following the retirement of Dave Wilkinson at Glassex, the new team is completed with the appointment of Dave Reay, taking care of sales in the North of England and Scotland.
Dave Reay has been working in the window industry for the past 16 years and was drawn to Kömmerling as the company is customer-focused with a positive outlook. He comments, “Kömmerling is industry-renowned for its innovative products and it has a very flexible approach to the market place. It is an established company with a reputation for very high quality but it still adapts to the market place and retains its competitive edge by thoroughly researching new areas.
“To illustrate this point, Kömmerling is currently leading the market in terms of lead-free PVC-u profile with its greenline policy and has recently launched a further green initiative, recycline, which sees waste profile effectively recycled and spared from clogging up landfill sites.”
A keen supporter of Durham Cricket Club and Sunderland Football Team, Dave believes that fabricators should be looking to work with a forward-thinking company like Kömmerling during the current difficult market conditions. The new team certainly conveyed this message effectively at the recent Glassex exhibition and are now working on several new fabricator partnerships.
Glassex also gave the Kömmerling management team an ideal opportunity to thank Dave Wilkinson for his significant contribution to the company’s past success and to wish him well for his retirement.
