The new promotional DVD is full of consumer-friendly information about Pilkington energiKare™, including how it works and the amount of energy and money that can be saved by fitting windows containing the glazing. The DVD is an ideal sales aid for use either in showrooms or in the home and is available to all Pilkington energiKare™ Partners free of charge from the Pilkington customer contact centre.
Beginning with the Pilkington energiKare™ television commercial that was aired throughout the UK earlier in the year, the DVD’s slick visuals demonstrate how windows incorporating Pilkington energiKare™ can reduce a household’s energy consumption and help save money. The DVD also offers emphatic proof of the efficiency of the glazing using thermal imagery. The advanced photography technique shows just how much heat escapes through a single glazed window compared to a Pilkington energiKare™ window. In addition, the five minute presentation explains the BFRC’s Window Energy Rating scheme, the Energy Saving Trust’s Energy Saving Recommended system, as well as the Pilkington energiKare™ partnership with British Gas.
