The Council for Aluminium in Building will once again be heading up the Aluminium Zone at Interbuild this year. Over the last few years the Zone has become popular as one of the main focal points for anyone involved in, or interested in, commercial aluminium fabrication.
This year sees the growing Trade Association hosting a new initiative - a purpose built ‘CAB Aluminium Village’, a lounge area surrounded by members stands, situated within the Zone itself. The lounge will be hosted by CAB staff who will be on hand to answer questions about standards, regulations, best practice and membership opportunities. Justin Ratcliffe, CAB Chief Executive explains, “The exhibition allows us to meet and support our members, network with a dynamic range of companies across the aluminium in construction sector and promote the benefits of the material and its green credentials. Our new ‘Aluminium & Sustainability’ report will be freely available to all. Several visitors to the CAB stand last year have subsequently became highly active members of the association confirming the valuable role CAB is playing in the industry today’
The CAB Aluminium Zone is located in hall 5 and CAB staff welcome all visitors and welcome any questions on aluminium. Further information on CAB can be found on their website at www.c-a-b.org.uk or call Julie Harley on 01453 828851.
