Pilkington energiKare™ Whatever The Weather

Weatherseal joins Pilkington energiKare

Weatherseal, one of the UK’s largest home improvement companies with hundreds of outlets across the country, is the latest company to sign up and become part of the Pilkington energiKare™ evolution.

The company, which supplies windows, doors and conservatories to the domestic market, will now sell Pilkington energiKare™ in all of its windows and doors, giving customers the benefit of the energy efficient glazing as standard.

Alex Scott, Weatherseal, said: “With rising energy bills a major concern to the public, we want to make sure that our windows are value for money and save energy. Therefore signing up with Pilkington energiKare™ was a natural progression – it will help our customers control their energy costs and differentiate Weatherseal as a company at the leading edge of window design and technology.

“We will be informing customers of the new addition with a mail shot, telephone calls and updated literature, and we’ll benefit from the Pilkington energiKare™ television advertising campaign and marketing initiatives that Pilkington has planned.”

The company, which also offers cavity wall insulation, flat roofing and garage doors, will take delivery of the Pilkington energiKare™ glazing from Pilkington AG, and distribute it to its network of more than 70 branches nationwide.

Andy McDowell, National Business Development Manager UK, Pilkington, said: “This is great news for Pilkington energiKare™ and householders across the country. With our energy efficient glazing now available through Weatherseal, even more people will be able to take advantage of its energy saving properties and put an end to excessive heat loss through their windows.”
