Sprint Joins CAB

Sprint Coatings, a Dublin based architectural powder coating company has recently been accepted by the Council for Aluminium in Building for membership of their association. Sprint, once known as Goodbody Colour Coating, recently acquired new premises and plant and relocated to the prestigious North West Business Park at Ballycoolin.

Alan Maginnis, Managing Director of Sprint comments, “CAB kindly invited us to their regional members meeting as guests late last year which was held at the Waterfront in Belfast. We found the event was well organised and provided and opportunity to meet many of our customers and suppliers. CAB supports the industry both technically and commercially and it provides a helpful resource to learn a great deal more about the industry we supply. CAB embraces not only aluminium suppliers but all companies who are involved in the supply chain; glass manufacturers’, hardware manufacturers’, fabricators and others. We believe the CAB forum will help us to learn from the experiences of others, as well as enabling us to share from area of expertise - finishing. We ‘fit’ well within the association and are glad to be a part of it”.

Shortly after the meeting Sprint applied for membership of CAB and a few weeks later were notified of their acceptance. Alan continues, “We have now been to our second meeting, held at the Armouries in Leeds, which we found to be entertaining and at the same time educational. I believe that membership will give our business a better insight to the wider industry and allow us to make better decisions on behalf of our business and ultimately our customers.”
