“David Earle Retires”

David Earle

The fenestration industry is about to lose one of its most ardent supporters who has worked tirelessly to support the industry in the UK and Europe on all matters technical.

Over the last five and a half years David Earle has worked full time for the Council for Aluminium in Building as Technical Officer. Amongst other initiatives, David has introduced to the association an annual technical conference for members and a regular newsletter, ‘Roundup’ which informs members of the latest legislation and standards affecting the industry.

CAB is delighted to announce that they have secured the services of Patrick England of Quest International Services who will take on the role of CAB Technical Consultant. Together with Martin Ford, CAB Technical Support Officer, CAB will continue to support its membership on all matters technical. David will be remembered for his sharp wit and knowing smile, he always took time out to get to know new members, offering a warm welcome to CAB and often visiting their facilities in order to advise on current and pending standards.

David retired at the end of August and members have joined CAB in thanking him for a job well done and wishing him a very long and happy retirement.

The Council for Aluminium in Building helps specifiers and fabricators utilise the best that aluminium can offer. For further information on membership and what the association can do for you contact CAB on 01453 828851 or visit the website at www.c-a-b.org.uk
