The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) are delighted to be once again working in partnership with Interbuild 2009 to head up the ‘Aluminium in Construction Zone’ which has been relocated close to the entrance to Hall 5.
A newly designed ‘CAB Aluminium Village’, within the Zone, will accommodate a number of member stands which open onto a communal lounge and reception area for visitors. The CAB staff team will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the use of aluminium in construction and aluminium’s unique sustainability characteristics.
Interbuild registrations are up on previous years and there are new areas such as the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ and ‘Sustainability Street’, which are very relevant to today’s market. Glassex 2009 is to be run at the same time and this should further increase the footfall making it one of the ‘must see’ shows of 2009.
Just Ratcliffe, CAB Chief Executive, comments, “We have seen quite an upturn in the take-up of stands from our members in the Aluminium Zone and this year we are optimistic that the show will attract even more visitors than 2008. The Interbuild organisers have been very proactive to ensure that there are relevant areas of the show which should attract many new visitors, particularly to Hall 5 and we are delighted to have such a strong position at the show. I always look forward to the exhibition as it gives me the opportunity to discuss aluminium's use with a wide range of building professionals.”
