Cavity closed for CWG Choices

CWG Choices has just launched the Kömmerling Kom-fit cavity closer which has already proved hugely successful for national house builders such as Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey and David Wilson Homes, but also for smaller house builders.

The Kom-fit cavity closer allows for windows and doors to be fitted from the inside and meets the latest insulation and ventilation requirements for the Building Regulations. It is designed to be used with the Kömmerling and KBE window and door systems and given its widespread use throughout the house building sector there are few cavity closers on the market which can claim the same levels of success.

A built in co-extruded weatherseal on the cavity closer keeps the elements out, whilst a built in adhesive seal helps hold the window/door in position during fixing. Suitable for cavities from 50mm to 100mm it also incorporates an integrated external finishing trim to minimise the use of silicone

Jason Wilder, joint managing director at CWG Choices comments: “It is our view that this is the best cavity closer on the market. It is cost effective, proven and supplied ready for use and couldn’t be more easy to use. When supplied with a Kömmerling window and door we can offer a one-stop shop for installers working in the house building sector.”
