Edgetech is pleased to announce that delegates to its ‘Journey to C’ workshops to help fabricators and installers achieve a ‘C’ Window Energy Rating to comply with the proposed Building Regulations, will also get an exclusive look at the innovative Sparklike product for which it has become sole distributor.
Andy Jones, Edgetech’s Managing Director explains: “Edgetech is now the exclusive distributor for the superb tool, Sparklike, the Gasglass argon and krypton gas detector. Prior to the invention of the innovative Gasglass technology, manufacturers had to virtually destroy units to test gas fill levels. Sparklike’s device was the first to enable testing without compromising the integrity of the IG unit. We are pleased to be able to give delegates to the nationwide series of ‘Journey to C’ workshops a glimpse of this exciting product. This is of course in addition to having the opportunity to have individual consultations with Independent Assessors and representatives from Edgetech, as well as hear more about the practical process of getting an energy rated window from Giles Willson from the British Fenestration Ratings Council and Richard Bate from Buildcheck.
“We are also offering hands on support to help companies obtain the ‘C’ Window Energy Ratings they need. Some of our venues are almost full but if you would like to pop into one of our workshops, it’s not too late to register. Simply fill out the registration form at www.journeytoc.co.uk.”
‘B ing There’ (for Scotland) begins at Murrayfield rugby stadium on 3rd March. ‘Journey to C’ then moves to the Newcastle Football Club on 16th March; Lancashire County Cricket Club on 18th March; Coombe Abbey in Coventry on 25th March; Lords on 31st March; At Bristol 9th April and the Eden Project in St Austell on 14th April.
