Modplan adds the Deceuninck bi-folding door to its product range

Gwent-based trade fabricator Modplan Ltd has just announced the addition of Deceuninck bi-folding door suite to its range. Heidi Sachs, Modplan’s Managing Director, says, “We’re delighted to be adding the door suite to our product portfolio and we’re confident it will enhance our already impressive range of window and door products.”

When the Modplan team decided they needed to add a bi-fold door suite to their range, they researched the market to find out what was out there and which option would best suit their needs. Heidi says, “We were impressed with the quality and innovation of Deceuninck bi-fold door offering. It has been tested and approved and it was quite clear that this door would add value to our portfolio and offer our customers the quality they have come to expect from us.”

The bi-fold door will be manufactured in Modplan’s recently purchased patio plant in Newport, Gwent. The latest of six plants, bringing the company’s total manufacturing space of 76,000 sq ft, the patio plant gives the company improved efficiencies and allows it to continue to meet the high standards it sets. Production of the door will start in early 2011.

Modplan has over 30 years’ experience in the manufacture of fenestration products for both the UK and Scandinavian markets. The company believes that one of the greatest contributions to their success over the years has been its attitude towards its customers. Heidi says, “We see our customers as business partners and we take pride providing them with a high quality service to ensure that our relationships with them are strong.”

She adds, “The addition of Deceuninck bi-fold door demonstrates our commitment to developing a product portfolio that meets our customers’ needs and adds value to their businesses. We expect it to be a popular addition to our range.”
