A green approach to Pilkington Building Products

The NSG Group’s Pilkington Building Products business will feature in a new business documentary entitled “A Green Approach to Business”. Airing on the 19th January, the programme will be broadcast on the BBC/ITV freesat, Sky digital television networks and highlights of the interview via website links. The documentary will champion the importance of green issues in business practice, and specifically for the NSG Group, will communicate the benefits of energy efficient glazing and also outline the Group’s view on the Green Deal.

The documentary features interviews with both Nick Shore, Engineering & Sustainability Director for PBP Worldwide and David Pinder, Managing Director, UK & South Europe. Pilkington Building Products are one of four companies featuring in the film, alongside Powerday (recycling and waste management), McFletch (demolition) and Dennis Eagle Ltd (refuse vehicle production).

David Pinder, Managing Director, UK & South Europe said “This programme is a great opportunity for businesses to learn and develop their own green business practices, from the workings of others. We also hope to highlight the environmental benefits of energy efficient glazing and the importance of energy saving measures such as the Government’s Green Deal.”

First set to be broadcast on Wednesday 19th January at 20:00 on SKY digital channel 166 and the BBC/ITV freesat 402, the programme will also be shown on the same channels on Sunday 16th February at 11:30am. A summary edition of the programme will also be made available on the Pilkington website shortly after the programme is broadcast.
