Modplan’s service adds value to business

Modplan Ltd has been manufacturing fenestration products for over 30 years and in that time has built up a great reputation for supplying the type of quality products that only an experienced fabricator can offer. The company’s reputation is also built on providing an equally high quality service and the team at Modplan believe this is because customers are seen as business partners and looked after as such. One example of how this attitude has paid off can be seen in the relationship that Modplan has with Neath-based retail fabricator and installer Mister Window.

Mister Window has been in business for over twenty years and operates throughout South Wales. The company provides windows, doors, porches and conservatories and the quality of its offering is demonstrated in the high levels of customer referrals it receives.

Two years ago, the company needed a new fabrication partner. Steve Cody, Mister Window’s Managing Director explains what they were looking for by saying: “We have very high quality standards so we needed to find a partner whose standards mirrored our own. We drew up a shortlist of potential companies to consider. At the end of the process it was clear that Modplan’s product quality and customer care were what we were looking for.”

Mister Window now takes a variety of products from Modplan. Steve Cody says, “Modplan supplies us with the specialist products that it’s simply not cost-effective for us to manufacture ourselves. The partnership means we can have a diverse and high quality portfolio that differentiates us from our competitors.” The products that Mister Window takes include coloured profiles: all products in Modplan’s fenestration range are available in any RAL colour and because it has its own in-house painting facility turnaround times are rapid. The company also takes conservatory roof products including Wendland roofs, K2 roofs and the innovative Vertex tile effect roof that offers the benefit of a traditional extension at a fraction of the cost.

Steve concludes by saying, “It’s important to have a fabrication partner you can trust, especially in this climate. We took great care in choosing our fabrication partner and that care has paid off – Modplan’s products and service add value to our business.”
