Deceuninck fabricator Dekko Window Systems Ltd and Peterborough-based Breckenridge Conservatories are celebrating the successful completion of a major contract on a retirement home. The project is the fourth of its type that the two companies have worked on together, demonstrating the formidable partnership they make.
The project was to install 200 casement windows into a new build retirement home. Each window was manufactured and fitted with restrictors on the opening and the hinges because of the vulnerability of the residents. The building contractor awarded the contract to Breckenridge Conservatories thanks to the team’s experience and attention to detail that helps to ensure a quality result. The quality of the Deceuninck 2800 decorative system casement windows that Breckenridge tendered to use on the project was also a deciding factor.
Clearly, a project of this scale required all of Breckenridge’s and Dekko’s experience. Kurt Greatrex of Dekko said, “Projects of this size and complexity need a lot of planning and collaboration if they are to be successful. We worked closely with the Breckenridge team to ensure that all the windows were manufactured and delivered to a timescale that matched their installation timetable and enabled the work to be completed with the minimum of fuss. I’m delighted to say that we completed the contract on time and the windows look great!”
He added, “We’re proud to say we’ve worked on such big projects and that our work is helping to enhance the lives of older people.”
Being awarded repeat business is a sure sign you’re doing something right. The fact that this was the fourth home for this contractor that Dekko and Breckenridge have manufactured and installed windows in suggests that their work is meeting and exceeding client expectations. If nothing else it demonstrates that the combination of Deceuninck, Dekko and Breckenridge quality and experience is a hard combination to beat!
